About the ViewOne Viewer

- OPEN DOCUMENT - opens any of the pages that have previously been saved
to your hard drive. These pages are in tiff format.

CLOSE DOCUMENT - removes the document from your screen. NOTE: To get
back to the original search results, select the 'refresh' button on the
menu bar at usually at the top of the browser.

SAVE PAGE - This function allows you to save the page located in the
main viewer window to your hard drive or a floppy disc. The file format
of the page is tiff. This page can be opened from within the viewer (see
Open Document) or inserted into any word processing program such as MS
Word or notepad.

PRINT DOCUMENT - This function will allow you to print the entire document. To
print a range of pages or one page at a time right click on the page and click the
Print pop-up menu.

- ZOOM AREA - This tool will allow you to zoom in on a section of the
document in the main window by selecting the button and then holding your
mouse button down and dragging it over the area you wish to zoom. This
can be done multiple times. If this button is not deselected, inadvertently
dragging the mouse over any part of the document will zoom in on that
area.

ZOOM PAGE - An alternative to the Zoom Area button. Select this button
and click in the main window to bring the page closer.

- UNZOOM PAGE - Use the unzoom button to view the page from further away.

- SHOW MAGNIFIER - After selecting this button with your curser, click
on the area of the document in the main window that you wish to magnify.
Like the Zoom Area button, the Show Magnifier button will remain in an
'on' state until deselected.

- ZOOM TO 100% - By selecting this button and clicking once in the document
window, the document will be automatically configured to 100%.

- FIT TO WINDOW WIDTH - By selecting this button and clicking in the
main document window the document will be adjusted to the same to the
same width as the document viewer. The entire width of the document will
be seen without scrolling.

- FIT TO WINDOW HEIGHT - By selecting this button and clicking in the
main document window the document will be adjusted to the same to the
same height as the document viewer. The entire height of the document
will be seen without scrolling.

FIT TO WINDOW- By selecting this button and clicking in the main document,
the document will be adjusted so that the entire document will fit within
the viewer main document window.

- ROTATE CLOCKWISE - This function rotates the document one turn to the
left for each time the button is selected.

- ROTATE COUNTERCLOCKWISE - This function rotates the document one turn
to the right for each time the button is selected.

- INVERT ON - This function will invert black to white and white to black.
For a normal text document, this will result in a photographic negative
affect.

- New Window - This will open an additional document-viewing window in
a browser without closing the original browser window.

- Start Download
By selecting this button the user can download the document.
Page Control Bar

- Left Arrow and Line
- allows users to jump to the beginning of the document
- Left Arrow
- Users can move backward through the document, one page at a time.
- Textured Slider
- Users can hold the mouse button down and move through the
document by sliding left or right
- Right Arrow
- Users can move foreword through the document, one page at a time.
- Right Arrow and Line
- allows users to jump to the end of the document
- Yellow Button and Cross
- Users can enhance the page contents by clicking on the
button. The documents text is lightened and darkened as the button is clicked on.
- Large 'A'
- Hides any annotations
Brightness Adjustment

- Users can adjust the brightness level of the text by sliding the button left or right.
Viewing Options

- View one or two pages or a page of thumbnails
- Page views
- View thumbnails on the left, right or top of the viewer window.
